Method and limits
Useful because the boundaries are visible.
A bounded open-source signal scan. It combines official tourism and outdoor-recreation indicators with a manually verified sample of operator and public-project announcements. It is not a census of the glamping market.
Confidence A means an official authority or operator provides the stated fact. B means an operator announcement requires future opening confirmation. C means a public plan or concept, not an operating property. Sources were checked on 2026-10-21.
The report does not estimate market size, occupancy, ADR, revenue, project viability or approval. It creates a reproducible research file for deciding what deserves deeper diligence.
This edition changed: Ponderosa Pines currently discloses 25 cabins with private hot tubs and 8 renovated vintage trailers. Its glamping-tent count remains unknown, so 33 disclosed cabins/trailers are counted and the tent inventory is excluded. Whispering Springs currently publishes cabin booking from October 18, 2026 through May 20, 2027 with limited winter amenities. Mt Seymour's direct development plan identifies approximately 20 proposed tent or yurt pads. They are counted only in the proposed-stage subtotal. Fronterra's direct pages returned an origin error at recheck. The retained 2026 operating record remains, confidence is reduced to B, and no closure or new season is inferred.
