Direct answer
Before selecting a Raxx proposal, freeze eight records: legal and payment parties; exact POS, campground application and PMS connection; hardware and network; lodging, retail and food-service workflows; settlement; permissions and PCI responsibility; setup and support; and data, equipment and contract exit.
Run one acceptance day across reservation, room charge, walk-in sale, refund, batch close, internet loss, recovery and report export. Keep the current system available until material exceptions have owners.
Relationship boundary
The event map starts the review. It does not define the stack.
The official 2026 event map lists Raxx Payment Solutions at booth 122. Raxx describes campground, payment and POS functions and names products including Exatouch, ProCharge and ResNexus.
Those are first-party descriptions. They do not establish a property's purchased stack, fees, integration, compliance status or result. UNIKOST has no documented partnership, reseller relationship or implementation role with the named companies.
Name the stack
Write the seller, products and payment parties on one page.
Identify the legal merchant, sales organization, POS licensor, processor, acquiring bank, gateway, terminal, gift-card provider, PMS and support owner. Add each product name and version.
Raxx says it is powered by Electronic Payments and Esquire Bank. A public Electronic Payments program guide identifies another bank for that program. The documents may describe different offers. The signed application and incorporated guide must settle the actual chain.
Raxx's ResNexus page is currently marked under construction. Request supported versions, fields, certification and support ownership rather than treating the link as integration proof. The operating stack guide can keep POS, PMS, payments and accounting separate.
Test the lanes
Run lodging, retail and food service as distinct workflows.
For lodging, test deposit, check-in, folio post, changed stay, cancellation, split payment and partial refund. For retail, load real items, receive stock, sell, return, discount and count the drawer. For food service, test menus, modifiers, tips, tabs, split checks and remote printing.
Build an item map with source system, code, tax treatment, department, revenue account, inventory behavior, folio label and refund rule. Use representative exceptions rather than a clean demo catalogue.
Exatouch lists inventory, barcode, menu and restaurant functions. Match each required function to the proposed version, licenses, hardware and configuration. Obtain property-specific accounting and tax guidance.
Install the system
Verify hardware, network, permissions and support as installed.
Name every terminal, pin pad, printer, scanner, display, router and station. Record ownership, warranty, replacement path, subscriptions, wiring, backup connectivity and power protection. Test the actual counter, kitchen and office rather than copying a general requirement.
Create separate staff roles for front desk, store, food service, finance, manager, administrator and outside support. Limit refunds, voids, price overrides, inventory adjustments, exports and settlement account changes.
PCI SSC says outsourcing does not remove merchant responsibility. Inventory every card-entry channel and request the responsibility matrix and validation route for the contracted configuration. The opening-readiness guide can assign evidence and owners.
Settle and exit
Connect every ticket to the bank and preserve a safe rollback.
Link the POS ticket, reservation or folio, processor event, batch, bank deposit and accounting entry. Rebuild the quote from realistic card-present sales, card-not-present deposits, tips, refunds and online transactions using the signed fee schedule.
Test internet and power loss. Determine what can continue, where transactions queue, who reviews them and how duplicate submission is prevented. The payment-flow guide covers the money path; the ProcessPoint file supplies a common processor comparison table.
The exit file should cover notice, exports, gift-card liability, token portability, report retention, users, equipment, final fees, disputes, reserves and replacement credentials. Ask for sample exports before signing.
Comparison boundary
Compare the installed operating path, not the screen.
Give every proposal the same rows: parties, products, PMS connection, functions by lane, hardware, network, item and account mapping, complete fees, settlement, permissions, PCI responsibility, training, support, outage and exit. Mark each row confirmed, requested or unresolved.
The project calculator can expose missing operating inputs. It does not calculate POS price, tax, compliance, capacity, revenue or return.
FAQ
Questions to settle before cutover.
Is Raxx Payment Solutions listed at Glamping Show Americas 2026?
Yes. The official event map lists Raxx Payment Solutions at booth 122. The listing does not prove attendance, endorsement, product fit or a UNIKOST relationship.
Does Raxx publish a campground product page?
Yes. It describes a campground application and names several payment and software products. The exact purchased stack and integration still require written confirmation and testing.
Does the public ResNexus page prove an integration?
No. The reviewed Raxx ResNexus page is marked under construction. Request the exact integration specification, supported versions and fields, certification status and support boundary.
Who is the acquiring bank for a Raxx proposal?
Public Raxx and Electronic Payments pages refer to more than one bank or program. The signed merchant application and incorporated guide for the actual proposal must identify the bank and payment parties.
Does UNIKOST sell or implement Raxx, Exatouch or ResNexus?
No documented partnership, reseller relationship or implementation role exists. This is an independent buyer-side profile.

Next step
Turn the POS proposal into an operating control file.
Mark every party, product, workflow, device, mapping, payment, support and exit field confirmed, requested or unresolved. Project review can connect the front desk, store, food service and accounting paths; it does not select a POS or predict savings or return.
