Direct answer
Ask for one dated Seas-on project file with six parts: the legal seller and exact revision; complete wall, roof, floor, opening and air-sealing assemblies; the calculation basis for published insulation and heating figures; the selected room and equipment; the site, utility and accessibility scope; and the transport, assembly, commissioning and warranty records.
Do not compare the published insulation value with a U.S. requirement until its units, method, boundary conditions and complete-assembly basis are stated.
Relationship boundary
The show profile starts the file. It does not close it.
Glamping Show Americas lists Outstanding Tent at booth 214 and links to the company site. Outstanding presents the Seas-on as an insulated lodge for four-season rental and publishes three sizes, layout choices, insulation statements and heating inputs for one model.
UNIKOST has no documented partnership, dealer relationship or project role with Outstanding Tent or Outstanding USA Inc. Public pages do not establish the seller for a specific order, U.S. approval, property fit, installed price, delivery date or operating result.
Confirm the product
Name the seller, model and room revision.
The event profile gives a New York location. The company history says Outstanding USA Inc. was established in 2023. A proposal still needs the contracting entity, responsible factory and exact Seas-on model and revision.
Record AN3, AN4 or AN5, then attach the selected floor plan, occupancy assumption, bathroom, openings, terrace, furniture, appliances and options. The order, assembly set, utility plan, commissioning record and warranty file should carry the same revision.
Use the manufacturer due-diligence checklist for the identity record. It does not determine approval or parcel suitability.
Translate insulation
A panel value is not a whole-room result.
Outstanding publishes an “average insulation value” of 3.0 and says PIR panels have an R-value of 3.15. It also lists heating inputs for an AN4 at several temperatures. The public page does not state the measurement system, complete-assembly method, air-leakage assumption, glazing performance, wind condition or equipment efficiency behind those figures.
U.S. Department of Energy guidance explains that R-value measures resistance to heat flow and that a material value does not describe the full wall or roof. Framing, penetrations and air leakage can change assembly performance.
Request the calculation or test record in the units used for the destination. Include walls, roof, floor, frames, joints, doors, glazing, service penetrations, air sealing, ventilation and condensation control. Then compare the complete assembly and equipment against the actual climate.
The climate-ready quote guide provides a shared design-basis record. It does not validate a Seas-on calculation.
Define the room
Four-season operation extends beyond the envelope.
Outstanding describes offers from a basic structure to a furnished and installed lodge. Its FAQ says assembly can include electricity and plumbing inside the tent. The order must state the exact room and equipment supplied.
Schedule sleeping positions, bathroom fixtures, hot water, HVAC, ventilation, electrical loads, lighting, detectors, locks, furniture, appliances and owner-supplied items. Show every pipe, duct, cable and drain crossing the insulated assemblies.
Add water and wastewater freeze protection, service capacity, drainage, snow management, deck and entry conditions, housekeeping access and an outage procedure. A heated room cannot keep an exposed water line operating in winter.
U.S. Access Board standards address transient-lodging rooms and accessible routes where they apply. The project team and authority must coordinate the selected room, bathroom, entrance, deck and route for the property.
Close the handoffs
Turn-key needs a written end point.
Outstanding says it can arrange transport, assemble the lodge and fit the interior. Separate factory supply, freight, unloading, staging, platform, anchorage, deck, utility trenches, final connections, equipment start-up, inspections and site restoration in one responsibility matrix.
Ask for the packing list, shipment dimensions and weights, damage procedure, custody transfer and site assumptions. If the supplier assembles the lodge, record crew scope, equipment, weather limits and acceptance. If the owner assembles it, confirm instructions, skills, supervision and warranty effects.
Commission the furnished room against a stated hot or cold day. Record temperatures, HVAC operation, moisture observations, hot-water recovery, electrical demand, alarms and manual steps. Write failure and room-closure procedures before bookings begin.
Keep expected lifespan and warranty in separate columns. Request the governing warranty and terms for the destination and order, including maintenance duties, travel, labor, shipping, exclusions and the claim process.
Comparison rule
Compare complete files, not product labels.
Confirmed public evidence includes the 2026 booth record, the linked company site, named Seas-on sizes, insulation statements, transport and assembly descriptions and the current FAQ. The buyer still needs the legal seller, exact revision, complete assemblies, calculation basis, drawings, site interfaces, installed scope, commissioning, warranty and maintenance terms.
A basic structure should not compete with a furnished room. A product-page R-value should not compete with a whole-assembly report. Supplier assembly should not compete with a project that also includes platform, utilities and local closeout.
FAQ
Questions to close before ordering.
Does Outstanding publish a four-season lodge?
Yes. Outstanding presents the Seas-on as an insulated lodge for four-season rental. That is a first-party product claim. The project file still needs a climate-specific design basis, complete assemblies, equipment selection, utilities and commissioning plan.
Is the published R-value enough to compare the Seas-on with another unit?
No. First confirm the units, method and whether the value describes a panel, material or complete assembly. Include framing, joints, glazing, doors, penetrations and air leakage in the comparison.
Does Outstanding provide turn-key delivery?
Outstanding says it can arrange transport, assembly and interior fit-out. The order must define the exact included work, site boundary, local trades, utility connections, inspections, acceptance state and exclusions.
Can an owner assemble the lodge?
The company says self-assembly is available with instructions. Before choosing that route, confirm the current assembly set, required skills, supervision, equipment, inspection responsibilities and warranty effect.
Does the UNIKOST calculator estimate energy use or approval?
No. The calculator organizes early coordination inputs. It does not calculate heating or cooling loads, energy use, structural loads, code compliance, approval, price, occupancy, revenue or return.

Mark each item confirmed, requested or unresolved. Connect the supplier record to the parcel, climate and operating plan. The calculator can expose coordination work, but it does not verify product performance, approval, price or return.
