Direct answer

Do not compare WanderHut and Aspen until each quote identifies the exact model revision and product path. CabinPro says WanderHut may be supplied as a Park Model RV or in modular form; Aspen is presented as a Park Model RV. Those are different files, even before the floor plans are compared.

Add the property-side work to both proposals: placement, leveling, blocking or anchoring, skirting, utilities, access, local approvals and commissioning. CabinPro's public pages do not place all of that work inside delivery.

Relationship boundary

This is an independent product-path comparison.

UNIKOST has no documented partnership, dealer relationship or project role with CabinPro. The CabinPro profile in the 2026 Glamping Show Americas directory was the discovery item. It does not establish attendance, availability, approval or performance.

Define the stay

WanderHut and Aspen start with different room programs.

CabinPro lists WanderHut as a 168-square-foot A-frame micro-suite for two guests. Its public page includes a queen bed, compact kitchen elements, a toilet area and optional deck, sauna and maintenance-room package.

Aspen is presented for as many as six guests, with a separate main-floor bedroom, living and dining space, kitchen, bathroom, loft and an eight-foot covered porch. CabinPro lists 394 square feet of interior area.

A larger sleeping claim also changes linen turns, hot-water demand, parking, waste, noise and housekeeping. Record the guest count, sleeping plan, private-bath requirement, cooking level, storage and year-round conditions before asking for price.

Name the product path

The WanderHut page describes two possible classifications.

CabinPro says WanderHut is available on a Park Model RV chassis with an RVIA seal and built to ANSI A119.5, or in modular form depending on local requirements. The detailed specification on the same page lists a two-axle chassis and an RVIA seal.

The proposal should resolve which version is being sold. Request the classification, builder and label issuer, governing standard or state program, drawings and revision. A modular offer needs its own approval and inspection path rather than borrowed Park Model RV language.

Aspen is described as a Park Model RV with an RVIA seal to ANSI A119.5. RVIA says that standard covers fuel systems, health, fire and life safety, plumbing and construction requirements. RVIA also describes Park Model RVs as vehicles for temporary, recreational and seasonal use. The standard is product evidence, not a site or lodging approval.

Technical file

Turn web specifications into a dated submittal.

Both pages list chassis, framing, sheathing, roofing, siding, insulation depth, electrical service, water heating, HVAC, fixtures and finishes. Request plans and schedules tied to the exact unit rather than relying on the current web page.

  • Dimensioned plans, elevations and sections with revision date.
  • Classification, label basis and manufacturer identity.
  • Structural criteria and blocking or anchoring instructions.
  • Envelope, insulation, electrical, plumbing and HVAC schedules.
  • Installation, skirting, maintenance and winterization manuals.
  • Warranty tied to the legal seller and quoted unit.

The phrase four-season comfort appears on both pages. Connect the proposed assembly to the site's outdoor temperatures, snow, wind and moisture conditions before treating that phrase as a project criterion. The snow, wind and climate guide provides a place to record those values.

Map delivery and site work

The truck endpoint is not the guest-ready endpoint.

The two model pages say delivery includes required transport permits and escorts and reaches as close as semi-truck access allows. They assign final leveling, adjustments and skirting to the customer.

Mark the set point on the site plan. Identify the carrier, route, turning radius, overhead clearance, staging, unloading method, weather limits, ground protection and risk-transfer point. Then name responsibility for grading, supports, anchoring, utilities, decks, accessible route, drainage, testing and inspections.

Use the cabin delivery guide for the route and set file, and the quote-scope guide to compare unit, transport and site responsibilities together.

Read the warranty

The exclusions point back to the site team.

CabinPro's public warranty offers the original owner a two-year limited warranty for stated construction defects. It is not transferable, excludes the trailer chassis and excludes several conditions including improper blocking or anchoring, inadequate winterization or heat, poor maintenance and delivery-path obstructions.

Ask for the version incorporated into the sales agreement. Check commercial-rental use, appliance coverage, labor, travel, claim timing, response expectations and the party responsible for the chassis. Keep dated records of site preparation, placement, anchoring, utility connection and acceptance.

First request

Ask for one package indexed to the exact offer.

Send the parcel location, guest use, target model, unit count, season, utility plan, access constraints and climate values. Ask for the legal seller, configuration, classification, drawings, full scope, delivery endpoint, property responsibilities, warranty and acceptance milestones.

Mark missing items as pending, excluded or not applicable. The manufacturer due-diligence checklist keeps the company, factory, model, payment and acceptance records together.

FAQ

CabinPro comparison questions

Is WanderHut always a Park Model RV?

CabinPro says WanderHut can be supplied on a Park Model RV chassis with an RVIA seal or in a modular format, depending on local requirements. The quote needs to identify which version is offered and provide the matching documents.

Is Aspen a Park Model RV?

CabinPro’s current Aspen page describes it as a Park Model RV and lists an RVIA seal to ANSI A119.5. The quoted unit and production documents still need to match that published model.

Does an RVIA seal approve the campground site?

No. It addresses the manufacturer’s conformance program for the Park Model RV. Land use, placement, utilities, fire access and lodging operations remain subject to the applicable authorities.

What does CabinPro say delivery includes?

The two model pages say required transport permits and escorts are included and delivery proceeds as close as semi-truck access allows. They assign final leveling, adjustments and skirting to the customer.

What should be checked in the warranty?

Check the contract version, covered components, chassis responsibility, transferability, commercial-rental terms, blocking and anchoring requirements, winterization, maintenance, claim timing, labor and travel.
