Direct answer
Before ordering a Blue Bohemian tent for paid guest use, identify whether the quote covers a Better Bell product or remaining Lotus Belle inventory. Record the model, size, product number, component list, current instructions, seller, warrantor, spare-parts path and stock status.
Compare the operating calendar with the written terms. Blue Bohemian markets tents to glamping businesses, but its current terms say the canvas tents are not designed to remain pitched continuously for more than one month and treat longer continuous use as outside warranty coverage. Obtain a written answer for the actual setup and takedown pattern before payment.
Relationship boundary
This is an independent supplier profile.
UNIKOST has no documented partnership, dealer relationship or project role with Blue Bohemian, Better Bell or Lotus Belle. The official Glamping Show Americas directory, which listed Blue Bohemian Tents at booth 710, was the discovery record. It does not prove availability, approval, performance or endorsement.
Identify the product
One storefront contains two product histories.
Blue Bohemian presents a transition from Lotus Belle to its own Better Bell line while continuing to list both names. Its site says the company previously served as the authorized North American Lotus Belle distributor, is no longer affiliated with the UK company and now sells remaining genuine inventory independently. Blue Bohemian says it provides the customer service and warranty support itself.
Put the brand, model, nominal size, SKU or unique product number, page date and instruction revision on the quote. Ask whether each liner, porch, pole, floor and spare part is compatible with that exact tent. A Better Bell specification should not be combined with a Lotus Belle document simply because both appear in the same catalogue.
Model record
The 16-foot and 20-foot pages are not interchangeable.
The 16-foot Better Bell Stargazing page describes cotton canvas, transparent roof panels, two porch awnings, two doors, six mesh windows, roof vents and a bathtub-style PVC floor. It lists 193.8 square feet of usable standing space and gives a component list for the tent and porch kit.
The 20-foot page lists 301 square feet, a 19.7-foot width, a 12.5-foot overall height and a 5.9-foot side height. It also says the product has a two-year manufacturer warranty. The general terms say all tents and components have a limited one-year warranty. Resolve that conflict in writing for the exact product, warrantor and commercial use.
Bed-count and group-activity examples describe space; they are not a guest-room plan or occupancy approval. Draw the beds, aisles, storage, equipment and exit route for the proposed room.
Match the operating calendar
Continuous guest use is the central question.
Blue Bohemian terms say the tents are not designed to remain pitched continuously for more than one month. They add that some customers leave them erected for several months but classify that pattern as excessive use outside the warranty.
Send the supplier the real calendar: setup date, continuous days erected, occupied nights, planned takedowns, storage periods and shoulder-season weather. Ask whether coverage depends on a fly, liner, platform, resealing, inspection or scheduled takedown. Add every condition to the labor and maintenance plan.
If the intended season exceeds the published boundary, compare a different tent system or structure rather than budgeting on an exception that is not in the contract. The canvas accommodation comparison separates fabric, frame, base and closure evidence.
Plan platform and weather
A deck helps operations but does not rewrite the terms.
The FAQ says a platform is optional and often used to extend tent life, but Blue Bohemian does not provide platform plans. The project therefore needs its own footprint, guy-line zone, anchoring, drainage, stairs and guest-route design. Ask whether the quoted model may be anchored through or beside the deck and obtain the load information the designer needs.
The terms discuss user-reported wind exposure but do not claim certified cyclone or hurricane resistance. They advise taking a tent down during severe-weather warnings. Define who monitors alerts, what triggers closure, how long takedown takes, where guests move and how the dry fabric is stored.
Use the foundations and decks guide for the guest route and the climate-ready quote guide for design criteria and shutdown duties.
Receiving
Inspect the cartons before installation.
The shipping page says a standard tent arrives in two cartons, requires a signature and should remain in its original packaging until contents are checked. The FAQ identifies Coppell, Texas, as the dispatch location. Terms ask for prompt notice, photographs, labels and the product number when goods are damaged or missing.
For a multi-unit delivery, record every carton, label, product number, visible damage and missing part. Keep parts grouped by tent. Confirm stock or pre-order status, package weights, unloading method and delivery date separately from a carrier estimate. The delivery planning guide can be simplified for parcel or LTL shipments.
Freeze the order file
Request five matching documents.
- The quote naming brand, model, size, product number and stock status.
- The component list, setup instructions and compatible accessories.
- The warranty for the product and disclosed operating calendar.
- Weather, anchoring, maintenance, drying and storage instructions.
- Shipping, receiving, damage-claim, parts and service contacts.
Add the site plan, platform concept, operating dates, room layout, climate facts and evacuation procedure. The manufacturer due-diligence checklist keeps the seller and order record visible.
Prepare the property file
Organize the season before requesting prices.
The calculator organizes early site, access, climate and operating inputs. It does not verify Blue Bohemian, determine approval, establish a weather rating or calculate a binding cost, occupancy, revenue or return.

Blue Bohemian tent buying questions
Is Better Bell the same product as Lotus Belle?
No. Blue Bohemian presents Better Bell as its current line and says the Lotus Belle products still on the site are remaining inventory from its earlier period as the authorized North American distributor. The order should name the exact brand and model.
Who supports a Lotus Belle tent bought from Blue Bohemian now?
Blue Bohemian says it is no longer affiliated with Lotus Belle Tents Limited in the UK and exclusively provides customer service and warranty support for products it sells. Confirm the claim path and applicable warranty in the order.
Can a Better Bell remain on a glamping platform for the whole season?
Do not assume so. Blue Bohemian terms say its canvas tents are not designed to remain pitched continuously for more than one month and that longer continuous use is outside warranty coverage. Obtain a written answer for the actual operating calendar.
Does the website establish a two-year warranty?
The reviewed 20-foot product page says two years, while the general terms say one year for all tents and components. Resolve that conflict in the signed order and obtain the warranty for the exact model and intended commercial use.
Does a platform solve the anchoring and weather questions?
No. The company FAQ says a platform is optional and that Blue Bohemian does not provide platform plans. The project still needs pitch geometry, anchoring information, drainage, guest access and severe-weather procedures.
